There are three ways your organisation can be involved, as a Superhost, a Full-Day Host, or a Half-Day Host. Each option offers a different level of commitment and community impact. Whether you want to host the clinic for several weeks, invite students in for a single day, or simply provide a space for a short health screening session, there’s a role to suit your capacity and goals. Below, you’ll find a summary of each hosting option to help you decide which one is the right fit for your organisation. If you're keen to improve local health and connect your community to students and health professionals in a meaningful way, we’d love to work with you.
Your organisation becomes the central base for the Healthy Towns pop-up clinic over a full three-week period. The clinic will provide free health screenings and health promotion activities to community members. You’ll play a key role in supporting student-led outreach, connecting them with local businesses, services, and surrounding towns to run health screening sessions. The Super-Host commits to partnering with us to attract around 1500 people for a health screenings across the program.
A Full-Day Host partners with Healthy Towns by welcoming students into their organisation for a single day of activity. This could involve co-hosting a health event, supporting a student-led initiative, or linking the students with your community network. It’s a great option for organisations, community houses or groups wanting to contribute to rural health without a long-term commitment. Full-Day hosts work with the Super-Host to plan their event and commit to attracting 50 participants.
A Half-Day Host provides a venue for a short but high-impact health screening session. This is a practical option for organisations wanting to bring free, accessible health checks directly to their community or organisation. Half-Day Hosting is great for a workplace or group interested in supporting health and well-being of members or staff. Half-day hosts work with the Super-Host and Healthy Towns team to plan their session commit to attracting at least 25 participants.
